After purchasing the 18 unit Townhome Community across the street, I began searching for the owner of this acreage parcel. After much negotiation, I finally closed on the land and began work to create Darlington Heights. This subdivision is proposed as a 15 lot subdivision and will be built-to-rent. Each home will be on a separately deeded lot. The neighborhood front on a road I currently control which will be dedicated to the county and backs up to an Elementary School.
The Townhomes across the street are all 2 bedroom, 1 bath units. The homes built will be primarily 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom homes with a mix of 2 story and cape cod style homes. New homes have the added bonus of pushing maintenance expenses farther down the road as the builder and equipment manufacturer warranties will cover most items / issues for at least the first 12 months (builder) and 3 – 5 years for larger components of the homes.
